....Get your arse in gear and do the right thing here. Trump needs to threaten to sic a knife-wielding Lorena Bobbit on him at 2 AM if Thune screws us on this.

PS - I'm assuming that Lorena Bobbit is both alive and out of prison.

Be prepared for the irony of Mitch McConnell being the thumbs down on the Save Act.

Thune will do nothing. He already said no to ending the filibuster and no to a standing filibuster.

Republicans are feckless.

Hawgfaninc had started another thread (which I missed). Apparently, Massie was the only Republican to vote against it.

Ain’t happening. It’s status quo lately and it’s ridiculous.

Me, either. Praying for a little help from God. This would be huge if they could stumble into passing it.

Not sure we got the votes in the Senate. Murkowski, Collins, Rand Paul, who am I missing?

It does not have 60 votes.

And Thune will not end the filibuster to pass it.

McConnell could screw us.

Is Tillis a Senator? I should know, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

If Fetterman votes YES, we could lose 4 traitors and still pass it.

Also, of all people, hasn't Grassley saud that he opposed it?

He is in a bad spot. His district is full of Tejanos that have experienced open borders and soft on crime with the cartels and gangs. It's becoming more red. Like all texas border counties. You've got Mexican American families that go back hundreds of years and they sure as shite ain't voting for soft arse Democrats.

Murk has already stated that she would not vote for it.

Considering Tillis co sponsored the SAVE Act in previous years, I would assume he would vote for it. Provided his TDS hasn’t gone full blown.

Democrat reps from states that already require ID to vote, voted against it.

That is some serious powerman type of logic.
