You can tell that chick thinks she is wayyyy smarter and more clever than she actually is, and she got embarrassed. That's an epidemic with chicks these days.

Newsflash: it is literally impossible to embarrass someone with that type of hubris.

I legitimately think she didn't get the joke.

Yeah, her eyes proved it went RIGHT over the top.

Bill Hicks never died. He became Alex jones and is doing a bit.

Yeah she should have been honest and just said "I don't get it" instead of saying "I was waiting for more". She walked right into that.

What's wild to me about reels like this is it's at least a couple of years old, but recycled by an account like in the OP and monetized. The original content creator has probably seen dozens if not hundreds of accounts cash in on their good laugh.

Get ready for some “gaslighting” accusations.

You can see the terror of virality on her face once the guy responds

At first I thought she was leaning into the joke.
Then I realized she fell into it.

This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes in the area
It was a random on Facebook (I think) in response to one of these memes

Women get unreasonably salty when confronted with a situation they can't fit in.

What I've learned, and wish someone had told me a LONG time ago is, you can make a woman happy, but you can't keep her happy.
Their steady state is set to "unhappy" out of the box. Men do their best to make them happy, and we are mostly successful. Temporarily.
If a woman is happy for too long, she becomes uneasy with the feeling since it's not her steady state. If the happiness lasts too long, the lack of emotional instability will cause her to look for reasons to be unhappy. And she will find one.
Best you can hope for is to find a woman who vacillates between happy and unhappy with low frequency and amplitude.
Also, get a dog and a boat so you can escape the madness every once in a while.
