$106. And our water and HVAC is powered by electricity. So this is just natural gas for cooking. Last year at this time was $60.

Are you on Delta utilities?

I feel like my nat gas bill is $100 / month ever since Delta took over.

Is your gas hooked up to a crawfish burner, or just venting into the atmosphere? My last gas bill was $32, and that includes the furnace, stove, oven, dryer, and water heater.

The portion of our Entergy bill that was gas was usually $50-60. Now with Delta just gas was $120 last month.

Gotta love it.

Natural gas rates have skyrocketed. I'm in a business that uses a lot of it and the rate/unit essentially tripled from last year.

Ours hasn't been that high, but it was up. The Delta pricing issue has been so widespread there have been a few public meetings about it. Delta has attributed it to the rising cost of natural gas along with some customers moving from Entergy's levelized billing. I could see some increases, but there have been reports (if they can be believed) of 300%-600% increases.

The only thing running on gas in our house is the hot water heater.

Last bill 103 last year same time 85. it was probably a little colder. My highest ever was 162 after the snow/ice storm of 2024. I was on Centerpoint but Delta took over last year. Notice small increase but nothing major.

Delta recently took over Centerpoint.....my Centerpoint/Delta bill is $166 this month. Of course it usually is much higher at this time of the year, but it does seem like it's a good percentage higher this year since Delta took over.

At this point I'd be ok with unnatural gas if it's brings the bill down.

We only have gas for the water heater, and it’s over $100 which is double last year and up 40% since November.
