The Mens hoops team feels primed to being run roughshod over by Arky...

The intangibles seem ripe for Arky to come in and absolutely maul us.
Think 2nd half of how aTm did to us in football this year kinda mess.
And im not saying this to pile on or hate on an already bad situation. But Arky has been playing well winning 3 of their last 4; and the program is on life support here.
I dont know what the spread is, but Arky will cover and I mean cover big.

It's hard to really care about mens basketball at all right now either way
Just waiting for the inevitable canning of McMahon on waiting to see who the next coach is if we can make a splash and revive the program there

Just wait until McMagic gets the players he needs to run his system in 3 years from now. The deaf dome will be back bebe!

Yea I mean that's been pretty much the norm

For some reason McMahon's teams always play Calipari's team really well. Certainly wouldn't surprise me if LSU can keep this one close until the end. Not that I expect that, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Then again, it also wouldn't surprise me if the team has quit. I hope not, but I imagine the mood in that locker room isn't the best.

I didn't think that last week but after the Georgia fiasco Saturday I can believe anything bad happening with this team is possible. I visualize from here on out it'll just progressively deteriorate, and players will opt out (apparently that's already happening -- Dedan Thomas Jr). And it's truly sad that this coming Saturday -- Valentine's Day -- all the focus will be on the women's game vs SC. People have universally forgotten we also have a men's game @ Tennessee Saturday night.

John Calipari vs Matt McMahon is one of the great mysteries of college basketball. For some unknown reason, McMahon’s teams always do really well against Calipari’s teams. There is no logical explanation for it. It just happens.

They are terrible with a terrible coach. I hope they lose by 40 so Verge will end it sooner than later and let an interim coach coach.

McMan has never lost to Arky at home--but then before this past Saturday night, the same thing could have been said about Georgia. This is a truly special LSU team this year --- specially bad. And in recent home games-- vs SC, Georgia and "Moo" State-- the team has really tossed pride out the window.

McMahon goes to bed every night, thinking tomorrow is gonna be the day he gets fired.
He's had his chance, time to on and preferably not someone that was there as a HC already.

MM has pride and does his best to win but he knows he’s not a fit here after 4 years. He also knows one of the reasons he took the job,a 7 yr garenteed contract worth millions.HDGAF what y’all think because he will be giving all you fan the big middle finger every time he brings his wheelbarrow to the bank.

MM is going to make cal his McBitch again. He owns Cal for some reason

The talent gap between the two teams will make that very difficult, if not impossible this time. Arkansas just has to play an average game and avoid turnovers and make at least 50% of their FTA to win this game.

Our best hope is that Arky and Cal come in fatally overconfident and looking forward to aubie

It's a shame that MM has the men's basketball season over before Valentines day!

We will be up by 23 just before half and then down by 10 halfway through the second and then lose by 13-18 points after we make a strong run down the stretch to close the gap.

Cal is actually not that great a bench coach or a game planning coach. What Cal does well is get better players than most teams have and motivates the players.
But he leaves much to be desired in the X and O part of it and that opens to door sometimes for lesser teams to compete with his.
