Former U.S. Border Patrol Commander-at-Large Gregory Bovino was reportedly asked to leave a Las Vegas bar out of safety concerns for the venue’s customers.
Days after being removed from his post in Minneapolis, Bovino headed to Sin City, where he was spotted drinking wine at the multi-level Bottled Blonde sports bar on the Las Vegas Strip.
A representative from the establishment told the Daily Beast that the 55-year-old officer is no longer welcome there.
“Upon becoming aware of the individual’s presence, the patron was asked to leave the premises and was escorted out by staff in accordance with venue policy to maintain a safe and orderly environment for all patrons,” the venue said.
Bottled Blonde did not provide further details other than describing itself as a private business that “does not engage in political activity or affiliations” and “reserves the right to refuse service to any patron at its discretion.”

Someone should tell Bottle Blonde that removing a person based on politics is engaging in political activity.

The most disturbing thing was he was drinking wine instead of beer or whiskey.

And we reserve the right to not patron that establishment.

These decisions don’t usually end well.

Might be too touristy for it to affect them.

A lot of restaurant and bar workers have blue hair and hog rings in their noses.

While I think their stated reason is BS to provide cover for themselves I don’t really care that they refused service to a patron. They’re a private business and can make these decisions for themselves. However, what they definitely told me is that they don’t want my business for the one or two times a year I’m in Vegas. I’m sure millions of others that read about this will feel the same way. It’s their right to do it and we’re free to drink and eat elsewhere.

But they never used that discretion on any leftist.

Ever.

Just someone on the right literally doing their job.

But they don't engage in political activity.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight...

Perhaps on my next trip to Vegas I should run up a large bill there and then walk out without paying.

Here’s a picture from their website.

Was he having wine with dinner?

Bottled Blonde Las Vegas isn’t serving your average bar fare. This is food that holds its own; hot from the kitchen, big on flavor, and built for groups. From scratch made burgers to over-the-top wings, everything’s made to hit the spot and keep the energy up.

quote:

We’ve got you covered for rooftop day-drinks or dinner before a night on the Strip, Bottled Blonde makes it easy to keep the energy going. Big tables, open-air seating, skyline views, and a menu that works for any crowd. The drinks may get the spotlight, but the food keeps people at the table.
