Anyone who denies the left wants to censor everyone almost more than they love abortion is deluding themselves. The arresting of people for FB and Insta posts like England is currently doing is, make no mistake about it, the liberal wet dream.

Wasn't very long ago at all that twitter, facebook, instagram, youtube, google, etc., silenced dissent and people were largely prevented from gathering.
We have the illusion of freedom because some dorky South African bought twitter... don't think for a moment Musk, his businesses and "free speech" won't be in the top five of targets when democrats have the first chance.

It's a long game that's just now beginning to peak. There's a reason that both parties have worked to take chunks out of the middle class over the years. When you are poor, have little or no property and are a slave to federal assistance, you couldn't care less if you're censored. Or if your firearms are taken away. Or if your representative votes a certain way. Or if a political party really represents you. You just need that check to survive. There's a reason Biden (and Bush, too) let millions of impoverished and culturally divorced third world migrants into this country. Throughout history, the only people who have consistently risen up against tyranny are those who have some degree of stakes. Remove those and you go back to what most of human history is... a shite ton of poor peasants being abused by a very few wealthy assholes. And as long as the wealthy assholes remember to toss a few scraps off the table once in awhile, they can more or less do whatever horrendous things spring into their evil minds.

Yes, i was very aware when Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger testified about this before congress.
