Friends are driving through Friday. They’d like to pick up 15 lbs of boiled crawfish. Suggestions for the best options?

IDK, but I've eaten at their sister restaurant Harbour Seafood and it was great.

Yep. It and Kenner Seafood are my spots, but I’ve not had the crawfish from FC in years, if ever.

The best crawfish in the area are Bon Temps Boulets. They are a bit pricey at $10.50 per pound for boiled.

Anybody who would pay that much for boiled crawfish has more money than sense.

Many years ago the correct answer would be The Galley. Unfortunately, It’s not the same anymore.

I happened to drop by when Seithers was boiling at Zuppardos (they seem to boil there on Sundays) and grabbed a few pounds on a whim. Very good.

He posted this earlier today (2/5). When in season it seems he boils most days on site at Zupparodos.

Happy Super bowl, Happy Mardi Gras, and Happy Crawfish Season. Everyone has been asking and I'm proud to announce We are kicking off crawfish season this super weekend @ Zuppardo's Family Market. Stop by and get all your Mardi Gras parade supplies and come say hi to me. I'm teaming up with the Zuppardo Family to provide the best quality crawfish at the best price to Jefferson Parish. We on Veterans and transcontinental in the Heart of Metairie by the parade route.

Was at the Rouses on Airline and LaBarre earlier today when they were pulling a batch out and unfortunately they were mostly small (pinky sized) with a few mediums mixed in. I’ll wait.

Fisherman’s Warf was the ticket for them. Well seasoned crawfish, shrimp and crabs.
