The NCAA has pointed out that during the year he wants a medical redshirt for he participated in practice the entire year and there are no medical records during the season indicating he was sick.

Unfortunately this won't matter. Good news for LSU is that apparently you can just file a local court case and the NCAA is powerless against it. Any former tigers with eligibility want to come back and play?

You are 10000000% accurate. If he was at LSU these guys would be fighting mad if ruled ineligible. They would be saying the ncaa had it in for LSU.
