It’s a strange feeling having complete faith in the coaching staff. Especially on the offensive side.

I've been watching LSU coaching searches for 50 years and I have never seen a hire that was so embraced and pursued by the staff, students and fans. If it works out, it will be epic.

First loss of the season the negatigers will be calling for his head and bringing up how he under performed with a loaded roster season before last.

Agreed. This is the most excited I've been during an offseason since 2007.

It’s not just that he’s here, it’s what he’s building here.

Landry reversed course and fixed his shite.

Behind the scenes, he and Rousse are the primary ones that got this done.

Verge is a figurehead that takes the credit.(Like Alleva taking the credit for Will Wade, when it was Eddie Nunez that found him and got him to LSU)

I've thought this since the day it was announced he was hired. The amount of excitement surrounding the program and fanbase is palpable.

With BK, it felt like we were feckless both on and off the field with the media because he had no respect. Which was just pitiful.

I love that we have a coach that exudes confidence and has no problem calling people out and telling it like it is in a way people actually respect. Very refreshing from where we were just a few short months ago.

wanted him when we hired Kelly...better late than neve. I can't wait to see his offense with they typical talent we have at wr and I thinking all of our skill guys going forward will be even more talented than we have had

I always wanted him as coach. I’ll never forget the last coaching search. Lane tweeted a car with a Louisiana license plate. Then Kelly popped up and I was bummed. Now I’m so excited I love baseball! But shite football can’t get here soon enough!
