GOP needs to do it everywhere. They won't, but they should.

This is such a stupid back-and-forth cycle. It won't end up making much of a difference, just pissing everyone off.

If they don’t, they’ll own the consequences.

There has never not been gerrymandering. But redrawing districts every two years in some reactionary response to each election is not sustainable.

But the GOP has a major roadblock. Themselves.

Gerrymandering feels like another good argument for ranked choice voting.

ETA: of course a pro-democracy ideal like ranked choice voting is downvoted here

This.

And while they're at it ... start counting ALL livestock on farmlands for the census. Only sheep are counted current ... for Democrats. /sarcasm

Well…. My voice was likely just silenced. There is now a neighborhood in Clovis that has been divided into 3 districts. I hope all of the red states hit back and hit hard. Frick Newsom.

It wouldn't be silenced at all with ranked choice voting

Sarah Palin not being popular in that special election she handed to a Democrat did not go well here.

They struggle with the notion that its nothing other than an instant runoff.

nope but the 2030 maps will make a huge difference especially if you dont count illegals in census.

It is very unlikely that a Republican will be in the WH at that point in time, so count on the Census counting the illegals.
