Looks like the new Panda Express on Lee Drive across from Benny's opened today for those who are interested.

Never understood why people go here, other than like an airport.

Any hole in the wall / typical Chinese place is better, and they are everywhere

I’ll agree with this. I’ve had it once and it didn’t impress me at all.. I have a friend that loves it. But he’s the kind of guy that will go eat at outback when he’s out of town. And then talk about how it was one of the best outback’s he’s ever been to.
There’s a lot of people like him in the world apparently.

Outback's wings are pretty damn tasty. Depending on where you are, they might be the best wings in that particular location.

Fun fact, Panda Express/Inn created Orange Chicken in 1987.

Beijing Beef and Erng chicken got me through freshman year at LSU. Think I ate Panda in the student union 3-4 days a week for lunch. The black lady used to absolutely load those boxes down

It's a drive-thru fast food place. It's not trying to be better, just more convenient/reliable.

I guess… I’ll take an extra 3 mins to walk in and get it.

No matter if you order for 2, or 20, it’s always “ten minute “

Usually taken by a 12 year old girl who is visibly annoyed you interrupted her doing her homework.

This. I mean obviously a regular Chinese joint probably has better stuff but that’s not what it’s about.

It's also a really popular spot for people watching macros. They offer a veggie base, and some of their meats are very low-cal.

I saw someone yesterday say their normal meal there got them to 100g of protein. That's insane.

I never go because College Drive is hellscape to me, but I live near-ish the new location, so I'm excited to have the option.

I was thinking about something for dinner tonight and might swing by and get some mushroom chicken.

I only really looked at the calories. I don't know about all that other stuff.

I suggest their chicken teriyaki, if you haven't tried it before.

Panda Express outside a mall just seems unnatural
