I’m sure Kelly didn’t help but Sloan was inept.

Kentucky's coach was a good OC. He might keep calling plays and running his system. If id have to guess id say Sloan is OC in title but basically a QB coach

He isn’t calling plays or designing the offensive system.

He’s an excellent recruiter and QB coach.

Nope, and idc. I’m only glad that dark chapter of LSU football is behind us now.

I don’t think Sloan is a lost cause. He’s not ready to be a coordinator at a big school like LSU, but he is still young and can improve a lot.

Just as long as he doesn’t come back here again.

Dude had a bad 2025 but he has a proven track record as a QB coach and recruiter

LSU offensive issues last season do not all lie at the feet of Sloan

Do we think he's a good QB coach now? MVB had all the tools but was pretty unimpressive...

I think Sloan is an all around failure. Might be a good dude, but he's a failure of a coach.

Sloan is incapable of implementing a run game.

If he has someone who can do that he’ll be fine.

The rest of the problems were a result of the limitations we had at OL. There’s almost no answer when you don’t have an OL that can protect and no running game.

At Kentucky is going to be a tough game. Sloan is very familiar with our team’s strengths and weaknesses and he’s coming after us for revenge. I’ve heard from people that he didn’t take he’s firing well and is super motivated now.

Absolutely! He does not have great schematics nor play calling attributes. Stein will likely run what he ran at Oregon and also call plays.

Where does his reputation as a good QB coach come from?

It seems Sloan got a lot of credit for JD5, when it’s been clear for a while that much of that was his own work and effort not so much Sloan.
