Not sure about gold, but I think $70 is the new floor for silver due simply to industrial demand.

Who knows. I’m more interested to see how the covered call ETFs perform over the upcoming year. This volatility is supposed to be the conditions where they outperform…or prove them to be snake oil.

Agreed. As long as we're still looking at rapid AI data center growth, we're going to see demand keep the price higher than it has been.

from one of the newsletters I subscribe to:

quote:

SILVER: Silver spiked above $120 before reversing. As long as prices hold the 50-day EMA currently near $78.50 through February, we view this as a one-month consolidation within a parabolic advance that could carry prices toward $200+ in May.

A sustained breakdown below the 50-day would argue for a multi-year top. Either way, we do not expect a final secular peak until 2031.

There's lots of speculation online that someone was playing frick-frick games by dumping paper silver on Friday to drive the price down because COMEX can't cover their contracts. If that's true, it should go back up on Sunday night when Shanghai opens.

I just bought another 66 oz. this morning and my dealer has another 24 oz. inbound that he's supposed to call me on.

Paper SLV likely range bound in consolidation for a few weeks. Large range, but range bound

I like a good conspiracy as much as the next guy. But, how could someone tank the market 30% with paper without creating a massive divergence in physical pricing?

The speculation is that there's a shitload of paper, but not nearly enough physical to cover. We'll have to see what the Asian market does on Sunday night to figure out if it's legit or bullshite. I'm so far ahead on my previously held stuff that I could afford to gamble on buying more today.

That's another theory on Friday's drop. Trump's nomination of Warsh, who isn't a fan of QE, possibly led people to believe that the inflation would be better controlled.

Shanghai around $130 when JP did their infamous slam down then just happened to buy millions of ounces right at the bottom.

Shanghai is open and the bloodbath continues. I'm hoping it's just the last of the paper holders and leveraged guys getting out before a resurgence for physical.

Hard to say floor but it got ahead of itself.

Gold probably finishes the year low to mid 5k.

Silver probably high 60s

Shanghai isn't open, there are two other markets open though and Japan opens in 10 mins. Shanghai is in two hours I think.

Silver surfaces 4 months every 15-20 years
Otherwise worthless and completely rigged by the banks.
Trillions in scam and they pay a fine of 5% of their theft
Rinse and repeat
