They made Bill F’n Belichick a sympathetic figure to football fans.
Wild times.

They torpedoed their reputation with this stupidity. It's such a bad look it almost makes the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame look credible.

And there she was, getting a yellow bikini to match his yellow jacket.

This.
The dorks who are the baseball writers had their own stupid sense of entitlement where they refused to unanimously vote for an obvious HOF player on the first ballot. But they still voted the player in. Bill may be the biggest horse's arse in the world, but he's still won more Super Bowls than any other coach in NFL history. It's not a HOF of "nice guys". It's a HOF for football accomplishments. But this is what happens when you allow sportswriters to vote. Their inflated sense of self-worth overrides logic.

Writers are people who think they're smarter than everyone else. Ruining ichiro's unanimous hof candidacy was stupid.
This actually might be worse honestly.

He cheated. Make him wait a year. Not hard to understand.

You don’t know what you’re talking about. Everyone was stealing signals, Jimmy Johnson and Cowher have talked about it publicly

Lemme guess: You also believe Watergate was the worst thing a POTUS has ever done?
(Leaving aside that evidence indicates he didn’t even know about the DNC break-in beforehand.)

You think Brady should have to wait a year also?

Does Ichiro scream “unanimous” to you? Babe Ruth wasn’t unanimous but somehow Mo Rivera was

How was his relationship with Kraft leading up to and at his departure?

- Greatest coach in NFL history
- Dates an OT 7.5 who is nearly 50 years his junior
- goes 4-8 at UNC and still lands top 15 class
- is MAGA AF and doesnt care who knows it

Some of these same voters for MLB continue to keep the best baseball player in modern era, Barry Bonds out of HOF

Mo was absolutely a Hall of Famer. First ballot, even. First unanimous one, though? Nope.
