Made me think, should Lane make a donation for the freeze recovery in Oxford? Kill 'em with kindness? How would they be able to twist that into a negative?

If he does so, it should be done out of genuine empathy and not as a publicity stunt. Not everything has to be a troll job or clickbait. Im sure there are several in Oxford he is still close to, and I don’t doubt that he would be willing to help. But genuine kindness doesn’t need fanfare or ulterior motives

Mississippi was hit very hard by the winter storm, that's why Ole Miss cancelled classes this week. I got off easy in Georgia, just losing power for a few hours on Sunday. If Lane wants to help them out, go for it.

If Lane was still there that catastrophe would have swerved right around Oxford. Oh well!

How do you know he hasn't?

People who decide to do nice things, often don't publicize it.

You know there is a whole bible verse about this.... Matthew chapter 6.
"when you give alms, do not sound trumpets before you as the hypocrites do... .... but when you give alms do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing."

Some people would never let you know, but are doing great things right in front of you....

(I have no clue if Kiffin has done anything, or hasn't)

I lost my aunt due to the power failure in DeSoto Parish. This is not something to troll about.

Cajun navy is a service based organization who help anyone they can reach. I seriously doubt they would exclude North Louisiana based on how they may or may not feel about them personally.

What a stupid post. You don't even want me to start naming the North Louisiana athletes that helped LSU win championships.

This isn’t a legitimate question. He should just as much as anyone else should for any tragedy that occurs. Which is far too often. It’s not an answerable question.
