Thomas Massie out here trying to protect Privacy, while GOPe approves car "kill switches"

Massie led the effort to try to emend the funding bill that would have killed the "kill switch" legislation, but 57 RINOs joined the Dems to allow it to stay in.
Now your new car will come with a 'kill switch' which will tell you when it's OK for you to Drive your own vehicle.
But hey... Massie is the bad guy, right?

Is it anti theft or COVID restrictions related?

MAGA loves big government so yes.

A kill switch is atrocious. They already have blood alcohol content breathalyzers for convicted drunks. So technically a kill switch could be used politically. President AOC or even that little dweeb Shapiro... could order all MAGA to not be able to drive just because they can.

Just another day of losing for Massie, same as every other day.

Could you link me the actual verbiage of the bill that states this?

So does Massie. Remember when he was the deciding vote siding with Dems to raise the debt ceiling???
Posted on 1/27/26 at 1:14 pm to Jack Ruby
the republicans in congress are worthless, and massie is so unlikeable no one wants to support anything he proposes. neither of these 2 things are surprising

i'm convinced massie was sent from god to save the country. we are being taken over by power hungry zealots that want to control what you say and do. and if you criticize someone/something deemed untouchable, you get cancelled

Sorry you're too stupid to understand a simple statement.

I guess we all can't claim to be super smart like you. Lol

quote:It shouldn't be. Because what you claim doesn't exist. That vote wasn't on the actual bill. It was procedural vote. The actual bill passed 314-117 in the house. Also it passed 63-36 in the Senate.
That’s surprises me.
And I also find it odd that y'all are pizzed a Massie (allegedly) voting FOR a policy that Trump no only agrees with, he pushed hard for, and continues to push for..
