Don’t get me wrong, I love the talent we’re bringing in there, but I am admittedly a bit of a college football purist. It’s always great to have guys like Wendell or Landry or Chase who are home grown Louisiana kids that ball out at receiver.

I don't recall any recent 5*. Francis was a 4* I think. Easton Royal is a 5* for 2027

Who cares. The ones that were, left. We replaced them with better talent.

I would really like to flip him. I think we have a good chance, too.

If this means we don't have to hear "Bitch I'm from Louisiana" ever again then I'm all for players not being from here.

personally, i think it's almost a lock that, at some point, Royal will flip to LSU.. i cannot see him leaving the state, with how Lane approaches recruiting, how improved our offense will be, and with the resources at our disposal...

i'm not saying i'd be shocked if he doesn't, but it would be highly surprising, IMO

Easton and his dad/family are podnas with Tre Morgan and his dad/family. That certainly can't hurt. But, times have changed since Tre played in purple and gold.

With Darth Kiffin closing, I believe there's always a chance

We signed two from HS. But the pickins were slim recently. Guess it comes in waves.
