In terms of most complete challenge , early on Texas stands out to me. We get them in Death Valley but arch had a strong close to the season and they loaded up in the portal. Colin Simmons is a monster of a pass rusher we went out to get seaton for matchups like that. Cam Coleman is a game breaker at wr that matchup vs dj Pickett should be fun.

I agree. I think preseason lines will otherwise have LSU favored in every other game.

I think bama. Yea they may not be as good as they used to but it’s a mental thing.

They’ve beat us 13 out of the last 15

Clemson...the first game.

Brand new coaches
50 new players..
A new scheme on Offense.

The same thing that happened when we played florida state.A few years back..

The first came next year needs to be against a cupcake. Take the glasses off. This is a bad schedule. I don't see the team winning more than nine games.

I really don’t think so. Maybe the most dangerous for our fans for sure.

I could see 10 wins if everything falls right. But it’s a TOUGHHHH road next year, we’re definitely not going through that schedule unscathed.

Oh brother the overly pessimistic fan huh. This roster is more complete than Kelly’s first year here esp defensively. Kiffin went portal heavy every year at ole Miss and found ways to get his football teams to gel and ready to go. You don’t think he’ll bring that same level of preparation to Baton Rouge ? I’m not saying we will win a natty year 1 but if you don’t think this team’s ceiling if everything gel’s is higher then 9 games your out of your damn mind

Clemson is a sinking ship who the hell will even be their qb next year ?

Tough to say... Ole Miss and Tennessee will give us everything they have, the crowds will be the loudest those fields have ever seen, and they're on the road.

ATM and Texas are solid, but I think we can top them at home. Bama should be a win at home.

Can’t lie I’m excited for the challenge. We’re gonna be playing in a lot of hostile environment next season. Jordan hare at night is also one of the toughest places to play in the country. This will definitely be a battle tested team

Blake Baker will need his defense firing on all cylinders early in the season to let this offense gel. I’m excited that we have Kiffin because we will finally have a coach that knows how and can utilize our talent on offense. I really wish Leavitt was healthy enough for spring practice. Those reps are desperately needed with all the new bodies.

IMO the most important games are Clemson, Ole Miss and aTm because they’ll set the tone for the year.

I don’t trust ole Miss at all and Lane/Weis ain’t calling that offense anymore. I don’t think they’ll be better than they were this year defensively. Ole Miss has a LOT to prove.

In the context of a 9 game schedule, it’s really not as bad as it could be. Don’t get lost just looking at names. Auburn in JHS for example is a tall task typically but is anyone afraid of Auburn in a MASSIVE rebuild year when they lost almost all their talent on offense? All of your tough opponents are in Baton Rouge. You only have back to back road games once and that pair involves Arkansas. It could be a lot worse.

Clemson will probably not be that good next year but they’re still physical than most. We’re playing 9 SEC games + Clemson, it’ll be very difficult to get to 10-2.

A 7 win Clemson team coming to Baton Rouge, breaking in a new QB and OC, led by Dabo who basically dared Clemson to fire him last year doesn’t worry me one bit.

I think LSU beats Clemson pretty comfortably.

The path to me is fairly straight forward.

You have Clemson, Tech, McNeese, @Ketucky, @Auburn, @Ole Miss, A&M & Moo State.

Your toughest of those is probably A&M but you get them at home. Get to 8-0 and get to your BYE. Split November and you’re 10-2.

I like the schedule this year, normally can never say that but I think we do pretty well overall.

Toughest is either Texas or Alabama, but we get both at home. Texas A&M won't be easy, but we get them at home too (back to back how the heck does that work) Good schedule, as good as it can be in the SEC
