Is interior DL the only position where we don’t have a clear proven stud defensively?

Theirs a lot of talent and potential in that room for sure but it’s the one position group where there isn’t a proven game breaker. We know Prince is a pass rushing menace at edge. At LB we know weeks is a baller and dottery can play , at cb we know dj Pickett has immense potential and pj woodland is scrappy, at safety we know the Boise state kid is a dog and spears has a lot of ability.
Will be interesting to see how that position group shacks out . Will big Dom put it together ? Will the super freshmen (deuce,Anderson , brown ) force their way on the field right away ? Will the Clemson kid be a force ? Excited to see how that position group unfolds

Dude I have a funny feeling Richard Anderson is gonna be ready to start.

I guess you haven't seen highlights of the DL transfer from Clemson. He hasn't even reached his potential yet, but when he does, watch out!!!

Wouldn’t shock me at all . Has a college ready frame. The best HS LA DT prospect the state has had in a long time

I think he'll play quite a bit, and I think he'll benefit from limited snaps. He can go ham then get a fresh sub in. Some depth and rotation in the nose/interior should always be a priority. Those big boys need to stay as fresh as possible. I mentioned the friendly battles on the edge against our tackles in the spring already, but the interior battles against the guard/center spots will also be really fun.

McKinley was good last season. He now has really good teammates.

I think we will be good all the way across withe a deep rotation and always fresh. With our schedule next season we depth and just a bunch of dogs than one great player.

Dom making a jump would be really big.
I sort of viewed Green as a replacement for Guillory.
Blockton an upgrade over Breaux.
Brandon Brown will be #4 at the start. He could develop into a good player.
Anderson and Geralds I think are both ready to play and bring something different.
I only see DT getting a little dicey if 2 of the top 3 are out with injury at the same time.

Anthony Freak Johnson was impressive in high school, too. And he wasn't a bust, he just wasn't the monster that he looked like playing against kids.

He needs to lose some weight

Anthony Johnson’s was lazy AF in HD and took a ton of plays off.

Sure. But DL is a position with a high bust rate. A lot of kids look like teenage Reggie Whites in high school and go on to pull the full Sopsher. I'm certainly pulling for Anderson to be that monster and I'm thrilled to have him but I've learned.to wait and see st that position in particular.

Don’t sleep on Duce Geralds. He could be another Bernard Gooden. He has the same height & weight listed as Gooden. His write-ups suggest he has the same motor.

McKinley may make the jump.

Richard Anderson is really damn good and will play a lot as a freshman. Really wish Walter Mathis wouldn’t have portaled he’s going to be really good at Auburn. Deuce Geralds is a really explosive kid with a mean streak. Need McKinley to take a step. Green is a talented guy with experience. Blocton is a solid piece with SEC experience. It’s a stacked room.

It is very rare for a true freshment DT to make a large impact or be relied upon to start in the SEC, but I'm excited about him as much as any other kid we signed.

Richard Anderson will be one of them ones, he is strong as an ox and has a low center of gravity to blow up offensive lineman. He reminds me of Tyler Shelvin.
