He’s a Pittsburg native. I think his dad ran a neighborhood bar while Mike was growing up.
I don’t think anyone considers him a great coach, but his results outpace his reputation.

He and Omar Khan (Steelers GM) came into the league with the Saints together and have a great relationship. He's also a Pittsburgh native.
