Hottest and coldest place you’ve been to

Hottest: Singapore or Jakarta in the summer time

Coldest: temp wise: North Dakota in January. feels wise: Houston and Nola feel like 20 degrees colder than what the temp displays due to the humidity.

Hottest: summer 2023 in New Orleans

Coldest: Gaylord palms ice exhibit in Orlando, it was 9 degrees in there

Maybe Palm Springs in the hot arse summer
I spent a year or so in South Dakota getting around -5 or so without wind chill factor

Hottest- steel mill melt shop. Coldest- Rock Springs, Wyoming during and after a blizzard.

damn, Jakarta must have been brutal. I was in Harbin China for the ice festival in 2016 and it was insane. Something like -30 with wind chill. Totally worth it though, it was incredible. Chicago during the vortex in 2019 is up there too.

Hottest? Tuscaloosa, AL mid-July 1995. Digging gas service lines on a crew. My brother, my boss, and my foreman all threw up that day. Most miserably hot day I can ever remember.

Ok, my low temps are typically single digits or negative in the winter.

25 and dry feels exponentially better than 40 and humid.

ETA: 108 in Texas. -22 @ Copper Mountain, CO last MLK day

Hottest, easily Thailand in June. The humidity, the jungles, the centipedes…

Coldest, easily South Korea in February & March. Oh my God, was absolutely brutal…

Hottest either BR or Dallas sometime summer 2023. I don’t remember what the temps were.

Coldest -20 in Colorado.

I think I’ve been to North Dakota in January. That doesn’t have anything to do with the temps in Nola and Houston with humidity
