Has anybody figured out why Trump would stick his neck out for Julia Letlow?

I mean, she hadn’t even declared yet and he’s endorsing her for the Senate race. If you look at today’s advocate, they’re already pushing this rhino who is more of a rhino than Cassidy!

Then why dont the great ppl of LA find a bettee candidate rather then crying about Trump

She's not Cassidy.
Remember, Cassidy voted to impeach Trump. Cassidy hates Trump.
ETA: just to be technically right, after impeachment in the House Cassidy voted to "convict" in the Senate. This was the 2nd Trump house impeachment and Senate trial.

Mr. Cassidy has been an occasional critic of Mr. Trump, but he most notably voted to convict the president in his second impeachment trial five years ago. Years after Mr. Trump pushed during the 2022 midterm elections to excise House Republicans who voted to impeach him, he is now trying to punish Mr. Cassidy in the first election the senator has faced voters since his impeachment trial vote.

We have, his name is Fleming.

One theory I heard is he likes her because she supports carbon capture, unlike the other Republicans in the race. I don’t know that Trump supports carbon capture though. That’s the first I heard of that.

My God.
Look, I like Fleming, but him and/or his campaign is making this U.S. Senate race about one sole issue…carbon capture. There’s more issues than that which need to be discussed, and Letlow hasn’t come out public for or against anyway.
Also…if President Trump was completely against the process, he’d have stripped out the credits as part of his Big Beautiful Bill. Instead, if anything, some of the credits were enhanced.

I think more people are focusing on Letlow and not focusing on the fact he's not sticking his neck out for Cassidy again. He knows Brutus when he sees him.

Cassidy voted to impeach. That is plenty right there.

What is it about Fleming that Trump won't endorse him? He served under Trump during his first term...
I don't get the Letlow angle either. She wasn't a politician until her husband died of "COVID". I would assume he was hospitalized and given remdesivir and put on a vent, all of which we know now to be completely counter to successful outcomes. Actually hospitals still kill people, hence practicing medicine... BUT, she pushes for the vaccines. I suppose she feels that she is honoring her husband? Don't get it, still grades lower than Cassidy as a conservative.

I didn’t say anything about Fleming. Maybe the person I talked to got his information from Fleming, I don’t know.

She promoted the vaccine in 2021. JUST LIKE TRUMP DID.
She encourage people to get it, said it was safe, and also said it should be a personal choice. JUST LIKE TRUMP DID.
I don’t know whose campaign is handing out the talking points that Letlow supported mandating the vaccine, because that is false. I have an idea where it’s coming from.
And FWIW, I’m personally for Miguez to win the race. But the lying about her position is weird.
And if one simply doesn’t like that she was encouraging people in 2021 to get the clot shot, then you should also be pissed at President Trump.

And for the record, Fleming is a better candidate than Letlow, who is a better candidate than Cassidy.

Trump backs Letlow with her 75% party alignment vote, yet we have posters cry non stop about other Reps that vote with the party 91% of the time.

Wrong. We have posters here who cry that someone is more conservative than others when that person hasn’t done jack shite for the agenda we voted for.
