2026 Schedule

Vs Clemson - W
Vs La Tech - W
@ Ole Miss - W
Vs A&M - L
Vs Mcneese - W
@ UK - W
Vs Miss St - W
@ Auburn - W
BYE
vs Alabama - L
Vs UT - L
@ Tennessee - L
@ Arkansas - W

I’ll say 8-4, maybe 9-3 with winning one of the UT/Tenn games.

What do y’all think?

I'm not going to say 9-3 is the floor, but I'd be slightly shocked if we went 8-4 or worse

Lane is going to make this offense pretty damn good right away and if Baker can have the defense playing at a decent level still, we should be winning a lot of games.

I can tell you 1 thing - we DEFINITELY arent losing 3 home games next season

9-3 is floor. I think 10-2

Split 3 tough home games and at tenner. This is also what I would hope for with Kelly. I know Lane will do better.

I say we win the Bama game and UT game personally. Bama is not good and are going backwards in every which way and dont look to be getting better and Tennessee...for now give me LSU but depending on how their starting QB is I could see us losing given its at Tennessee. So give me 9-3 or 10-2.

I think LSU gets to 8-0 and then splits November at worst. This is considering Leavitt to be healthy though ftr.

I don't see us going 0-4 in the 4 toughest games. I think 9-3, maybe better.

I think the ceiling can be higher than 9-3, I just don’t know how quickly an entire team can adapt to Kiffin. I think in 2027 we shoot for the moon

I’m not an all or nothing guy but looking at our portal class and what we’re projected to land soon, 10-2 will be my expectation.

If we lose to aggie 3 years straight and twice at home, in a row, I may just become an alcoholic.

Didn't Ole Miss have like 18 new starters this year or something like that?

The optimism is warranted. You have arguably the best offensive staff in college football with the top QB, LT & TE/WR threat in the country coupled with a ton of continuity on the defensive side. Lane has already proven he can score points with transfers making up his offense.

I actually feel good about the A&M game. LSU fans will have blood on the mind after what happened this year and A&M hasn't always been great when they face good/great teams under Elko. I like LSU in that one.

With this talent and a good to better than average defense with CLK fixing the offense and we will score more than 24 points a game with all this talent. I say 10-2 is very feasible.

If history is any indication we can safely project that with these roster additions and this staff, this team will....

1) Be really good at QB
2) Will run the ball exceptionally well
3) Will be explosive on the outside
4) Will defend the pass well

My biggest thing I want to see with this team is an ability to stop the opposing rushing attack. LSU gave up some really ugly stat lines in the rushing department last year and it wasn't all because of the mobile QB.

I really don't think Ole Miss will be all that great offensively next season. Weis and Kiffin aint running that offense anymore.
