Financial websites believe it's because of Trump's latest tariff threats against Europe over Greenland.
Oh, well, another buying opportunity...

Wow! 0.8% huh? Damn that Trump. We’ll never financially recover from this.

The banks have been under pressure a bit and maybe the rest of the market is infected.
The economy seems to be doing okay but
We’ve had some wierd financial news from Trump lately:
No institutional ownership of housing! Oil at $50 a barrel! Credit card rates will be capped at 10%! Swipe fees are too high!
They’re not all explicit policy moves, but Trump's rhetoric could be causing some angst.

I remember when we did this last year.
We all made money buying the dip, so let us welcome LSURussian and his fear porn.

NASDAQ is the only one down over 1%. Not much of a true dip is it?

These Trump trade wars usually CRIPPLE the us economy for about a day or two.
And then we have to endure three months of prosperity.
So 90 days positive
& 2 negative.
The media with run with that.

That's why I said in my OP it's another buying opportunity.
Of course, the paranoid Trump cultists immediately started screaming that my thread is an anti-Trump thread. It's not.
It was intended to be a heads up to get out your dry powder and load the cannon....

That's a terrific buying dip for flipping ETFs on those averages, which I did.

Is an intraday decline of -2.4% a "true dip"?
