Any word? I will have to go and at least walk inside. Yes, plenty of down votes.

Many Christmas memories shared with family and friends. The jukebox definitely needs to be there.

Round the World with Anchovies on the side.

I doubt anyone can recreate the ambience. I hope they come close.

Tobacco stained walls, rude staff, and cash only policy with a $4 fee ATM would almost nail it.

I liked their pizza. Lots of good memories of dad picking up an around the world when I was a kid living near there
Who doesn’t have a bank that reimburses atm fees?

Doesn't look like they have started any real construction yet. A perimeter fence was installed but from what I can see not much more. I assume its a permit or historical tax credit hold up.

Tax evasion/avoidance does not equal money laundering
If you are banking with an institution that doesn’t cover 52 atm fees per year reassess

Yeah, the thing I liked it was the ambience. The old-school feel like nothing had changed in 40-50 years. If they remodeled it and cleaned it all up it just won't be the same... at least for me it won't.

riding past it lately, it needs a lot of work
definitely late spring at the earliest

they did have a facebook post where they actually showed a cooked pizza so once they fix up the property and staff up they can hit the ground running

It's an interesting pizza style. It can be good with the proper care in preparation and attention to detail. Hoping they can pull it off, but honestly a bit skeptical.

Diversion Pizza needs to open a second location across the street in the old Brewbachers building

I will say, that picture looks like a decent representation of what I'm getting at.

I like the pizza. Also when in there you feel like you escape some of craziness of world. Just order a couple pizzas, get a beer in the little glass, know your pizza going to take a while, and chill and conversate.

I live nearby in Goodwood and pass it almost daily. Zero work has started. Asbestos remediation is required, so there is no way they are opening in the Spring. Summer at this point would be aggressive, but doable.

I don't pass it often, but pretty interesting to hear this considering they post to social media like it's opening tomorrow.
