I know this isn't terribly original, but it is the same as last year for me. Since my team isn't playing in it, I have almost zero interest in college football on January 19. When we were a proper country, college football ended on January 1.

They drag this shite out too long and need to figure out how get it done sooner.

I am sure I will watch some of it, but I am kinda over college football for this season.

I'll probably check on the game when I estimate it should be down to the final few minutes. The championship should be scheduled two weeks prior to when it is now. It's like those 6-6 teams battling it out in January 4th bowls most people don't even know are happening.

I’m always all in on the CFB championship. It’s the Super Bowl I’m normally burned out by time it rolls around. Didn’t even watch last years. I’ve got guys at work that request off the Monday after every year. They treat it like one of the biggest events of the year

The NCAA screws up everything it does nowadays.

The schedule is so weird. It feels like the national championship has gotten lost a bit with the NFL playoffs in full swing.

Doesn’t help that the transfer portal and all the other nonsense is ongoing. It feels like the offseason already in CFB with how the calendar is setup.

It's going to be even worse next year. The national championship game isn't until January 25.

I keep forgetting about it until I have a commercial remind me.

I am glad to get one more cfb game, and I think that it will be a good game, happy for IU fans, but yeah, I've been checked out for a couple of weeks now

The long break between games kills it for me. I forgot the game was tonight until I saw a commercial for it yesterday.

The timeline of the college football playoff is absurd.

There are like 2 week gaps between every round.

It should have been Friday night. Both teams had a week off, people don’t have to work the next day. No NFL games to compete with.

I’m pretty excited for it.

Who doesn’t like watching these two teams when they’re playing well? Should be a great contest.

Last year was interesting. How could it not be with two blue bloods (Ohio State and Notre Dame)?

Indiana, while certainly more than worthy, just isn’t an interesting team. They’ll likely win by multiple TDs, but they just aren’t a draw for me.

The only interesting aspect in this game is Miami’s individual talent and athleticism. Can a few players “go beast mode” and take the game over by their sheer athletic greatness? That’s the only way the game will be interesting.

If not, you’re looking at something like 38-17 Indiana.

Yes.

At this point, I’m all in on NFL. The title game being after the Divisional Round is a tough sell unless your team is playing.

It feels like it has been forever since the last round. Should have been on Friday.

But good news is we have a championship game tonight

Too long after the season.

Needs to be closer to Jan 1st.

Last night, it merited an ad on the late game and I recognized the I insignia for Indiana, but I couldn't remember who they were playing. That "U" didn't automatically remind me of Miami.
We'll have it on, but probably read a book if it gets tedious.
