The new Korean cook your own food restaurant is lots of fun. Just make sure you get green onion, chili, garlic and jalopenos to put in your boiling pot of broth at the very beginning.

Went last week. Agree with your post. Bland but seasonable.

Completely different. Melting Pot is shared fondue.

Legend pot, K pot, etc is Hot Pot. And Legend Pot apparently also has AYCE sushi to go with the hot pot and Korean bbq

I didn’t understand the draw when I lived in Korea.

If I wanted to cook, I’d stay home.

Is that the old Rite Aid on Staring & Perkins?

Or the old Joe’s Crabshack?

So many k-pots and vape stores opening, I can’t keep up

Thanks GR for asking the important questions. I am slightly intrigued by this even if I have to cook my own food. I will try it once. At least.

Turning an old Rite Aid* with homeless living in it on Staring into a hot pot restaurant was certainly an idea

I’m sure it’s delicious

I’m curious how much they charge.

We’ve done it with friends before and it’s not cheap even doing it at home

The whole point of a restaurant is to not cook my own food.

Am I supposed to tip myself at the end when I bring myself the check?

Hey Grandpa, if you ever travelled to any good sized city in America, Korean BBQs are always packed. And this is been happening since early 2000s when I found out about them.

And to the people trying to be cool with the “if I wanted to cook, I’d stay home”, it’s a pain in the arse to replicate this at home because I’ve tried to do it. It’s tedious with the side items/condiments and prepping the meat. All that and your house smells like a BBQ pit for 3 days.
