Are the trucks we grew up with the next era of "classic" vehicles?

Nice to have a DIY vehicles supported with a huge aftermarket offering replacement parts ranging from stock replacements to high performance.

I think the 90’s/early 2000’s could be the last era of “classic cars”. With cars so reliant on computers today it may not be possible (at least for the average guy) to keep them running for decades. Kind of like computers. Eventually the tech just becomes obsolete

It was nice when trucks were made out of steel instead of some plastic composite they use now

I mean the new material is both lighter and safer.
