This is the era of truck that just went through a big bubble:

And let us not forget the holiest of grails, the 2-door Tahoe:

My dad had a 1998 Tahoe 2 door 4x4 when I was a kid. Wish we still had it.

My retirement plan is to buy a 50s to 70s truck and restore it bolt by bolt and make it my daily driver.

I think the 90’s/early 2000’s could be the last era of “classic cars”. With cars so reliant on computers today it may not be possible (at least for the average guy) to keep them running for decades. Kind of like computers. Eventually the tech just becomes obsolete

I have a 1979 Ford F250 camper special and a 1992 Eddie Bauer Bronco that I'm currently refreshing. Those pre 97 trucks are bringing insane money when they are in good shape.

It was nice when trucks were made out of steel instead of some plastic composite they use now

I mean the new material is both lighter and safer.

You're just simple ole contrarian, counselor. I ain't the one, so stay out of my replies with your bullshite.

Understand?

No lies were detected, especially the square bodies.

You don't give a frick about your vehicle being lighter OR safer?

No because I would rather just modify the engine components to make it faster and get some ranch hand bumpers

Most of those trucks would qualify for an antique plate where I live so…

I believe it's the same here in LA.
