It has been embedded in a couple of generations through our public schools…it will take a long time to eradicate…and I’m not sure it ever will be until a great reset/catastrophe happens.

And yet that TCU scene in Landman rattles them hahahhahaha

Imagine if the media covered stories truthfully. I can almost hear the shattering sounds.

To tide themselves over, libs in exile always try to have some kind of media to try to normalize their bullshite that the majority didn't buy into in the last election election cycle.

They did this with West Wing during the Bush years. I mean Star Trek has always tried to be on the progressive side but they'll try to co-opt anything they can to push their agenda.

The show debuted on YouTube and totally flopped. Another guy’s live stream of a Mr. Spock action figure sitting in a chair got more live viewers.

It will always be there. Eventually the other side will get elected. They'll over-play their hand and eventually everyone will get sick of that shite again. Never ending cycle.

Old age and treachery always triumph over youth and a smart mouth you say?

James Tiberius Kirk would beg to differ. Also, people like me, who grew up with Kirk and Picard, who would ordinarily be lined up to watch something like this, spend our real lives getting lectured to by losers like this. We don't need it when we are trying to escape.

I’m not terribly surprised by anything Star Trek pushing boundaries. That’s always been its thing.

But ordinarily the franchise also delivers on characters and story.

The difference here is that this show just flat sucks. And the boundary pushing is just annoying and unnecessary. Aren’t we past all this now? An all-female bridge team, for example. Who cares? This is 2026, not 1972.
