6’2, 205, also listed as 6’4 on On3. Great Ball skills and could be a good depth piece. He also played at Air Force prior to transferring to Morgan State.
**And I have no idea who’s on the coaches radar, but last time I posted an intriguing player, we landed them. So worth a shot lol**

Corey has not taken a single player out of the portal this year. He seems more committed to “his guys” than the other position coaches. And I’m not sure why…

It’s not “Corey”’s decision, on which DB’s to take.

Yea I’m not sure either. In my gut I feel like if we don’t add 1 or 2 more CB’s, it could come back to bite us. If 2 corners go down during the season, we’re looking thin and that could sabotage the season.

One thing I like about this kid is that outside of the standard highlights, he also shows film of him playing sound coverage. He has a good feel for the ball and knows how to manipulate the QB

He is the DB coach so…it kind of is lol

Or they see these guys every day in practice and are happy with where they are in their development.

Great young man!! I'm good friends with his dad and brother Dexter (played OG/DT at MSU). He was a teammate of Elijah "Big E" Sarrat at Colonial Forge HS and can ball out. He's definitely grown a few inches since I stopped coaching there and moved to Louisiana. He would be a nice pickup.

I’m sure he said we have 5 CB’s as good as anyone and Baker agreed. He knows if these guys are badass.

Cool! Somebody get ahold to someone on the defensive staff. Let’s make it happen for this young man

How does anyone know what Raymond recommended? And if his recommendations were approved or denied?
Surely he doesn’t get the final say or can approve the $$

I’m all for adding a part Japanese corner because thats something you never see but our DB room is stacked as it is. We might gave the best CB/S unit in college football.

CB unit outside of Pickett and Woodland is unproven and don’t know how reliable they will be. Need 3-4 corners that can actually play at a high level

The lanky DB from Southern feels like a Corey type guy. I read somewhere that he played some CB last year.
I do see that LSU listed him as a safety though, so who knows.

You're not sure why? Did you watch LSU at all this past season ? Do you think Woodland and Pickett are scrubs? The guys behind them didn't even look bad. Man it's amazing how much brainrot is on this board when it comes to the DBs on this roster. You do realize LSU went to Pickett and Woodland among their first to re-sign on the roster right? That says a lot.
