Below is the latest on Ex-Ole Miss EDGE Princewill Umanmielen.
- LSU is reported to be paying Ole Miss the $300k buyout they are owed to release Umanmielen from his signed contract with Ole Miss.
- Ole Miss is currently refusing to process his portal entry paperwork, similar to the alleged Carius Curne situation from earlier in the portal cycle.
- A resolution should come by the end of the weekend, as Ole Miss is forced to enter his portal entry paperwork by late Sunday night. (48 hours from Umanimelen’s intention to declare)
Seaton Watch
Ex-Colorado OT Jordan Seaton remains uncommitted.
- He visited Miami yesterday.
- Jordan Seaton Will Visit LSU Tomorrow.
- Oregon is very much still in the mix and will likely get a visit.
Portal QB Tidbits:
1. Ex-Duke QB Darian Mensah entered the portal yesterday.
- I expect him to land at Miami.

I have thoroughly enjoyed running the portal news tracker during the duration of the transformation of our roster. It’s been fun engaging with you all.
A few of you thought the fun was over after the “intention to declare” window. Sure, it was an option. After thinking about it for about 30 seconds, I wanted to prove those who thought that wrong.
I’m excited to do it all over again next year when it kicks back into high gear, but our fun isn’t over yet.

Great job, iPad!! I'm curious what the hold up with Seaton visiting is. You'd think he would jump all over the chance to at least come take a look!

Seems like a lot of ill will created between OM and Princewill. Hopefully it totally backfires and he says FU to Ole Miss and says I won't re-up with you.

Ole Miss screwed him along with several others - now, they are negotiating. Why? They know screwed up on these kids. Ole Miss will probably never claim they messed up. I don't see how a kid can go back in this situation, but he is the one making the decision. Only time will tell with the young man. Ole Miss did this to themselves.
