I’m looking for a good (not break the bank) CC holster for a Springfield armory XD 9mm

I don’t really want hard plastic

Inside waist band or outside?

Desantis makes a good leather holster for both.

Yes, you do.

Its significantly thinner and lighter than leather.

Is it bad that I just put my J frame in my pocket?

I hated AIWB until I got a Tier 1. Check them out if you want IWB.

It's kydex but you shouldn't eliminate kydex.

Brother I hear you. Kydex isn’t comfortable at all. It just works. A leather holster beats out kydex in comfort any day of the week

Crossbreed mini tuck is awesome for 3oclock IWB carry. Kydex holster with leather back. I have 2 of them and they are so comfortable to wear all day

Yeah I get that but those holsters tend to be pretty thick.

The bad thing about carrying concealed is trying out different holsters. I’ve got a drawer full of them. I always liked Galco for my leather holsters. I carried in a galco tuck and go for a long time. It conceals well because it sits low but also makes for a more difficult draw.

Crossbreed was great also but it’s a bit more of a pain to take on and off, but very comfortable.

Currently, I carry in a four brothers or C&G kydex holsters. I think kydex holsters are more expensive than they should be, but maybe they cost more to make than I think. Either way, I don’t regret buying them.

What sucks about leather is that its thick, it starts out too stiff and ends up too soft, it's heavy, absorbs sweat, stinks, creaks....

Kydex is a better holster material. Done right it is great. Vedder light tuck us an example of it done right. Done wrong, it sucks, like most of the $50 pieces of junk available.

Probably get 1 for inside and outside.

I’m a big fan of the Versacarry compound custom. Blend of leather and kydex. Keeps it secure while still being comfortable.

Man I have tried a few different ones and I cant find anything that I feel comfortable wearing. I swear I just want to buy a smaller carry and put it in my pocket.

I just bought one of the VNSH belts that go around your waist and its not comfortable either.

I am trying to carry a Glock 43
