I don't think she was trying to run anyone over. She was trying to flee after being detained. Me in that case would have gotten out and took my arrest. You can't win once they choose to detain you and any further action ads charges. I get maybe she was scared but she does face blame. That said firing into a vehicle isn't the policy of most agencies.

Exactly. As stupid as protesting is mostly, this is not the way to do it. I'm not saying she even deserved it but she had a big hand in it along with the liberal MSM.

It’s true….the woman was in a location she shouldn’t have been.

But the ICE agent put himself in danger by standing in front of the vehicle to block her from leaving. That is stupid plain and simple and against DOJ regulations. And the ICE agent was no longer in any danger when he fired the shots. He sidestepped the vehicle and shot her through the drivers window as she was pulling away. It wasn’t like he was shooting through the windshield as she was barreling toward him.

The ICE agent was probably frustrated as hell and was caught up in the moment and fired shots when it was totally unnecessary. The woman’s actions by being in the middle of a ICE operation did warrant some disciplinary action but was not warranted to be killed.

The comment was about the execution of the process - not the execution of the subject.

For instance - you can believe that abortions are bad, but still comment on the 'perfection' with which the process was executed.

I literally hate that it happened - but the source of that hate was for the NECESSITY of it even being a possibility.

Put that in context of someone pointing a revolver at you face and beginning to pull the trigger - do you wait until the hammer falls on an empty chamber to decide that it was not necessary to kill the shooter?

Of course not - the confluence of events during the split second when the 'outcome' of doing nothing are meaningless. It would not matter if there was a note that said "I am going to point an unloaded gun at the police and pull the trigger, just to see what they will do."

Her stated purpose was to illegally interfere with ICE operations. She had been following them around using her vehicle to delay their operations. They were going to legally arrest her - she wanted to escape - and whether or not she INTENDED to hit the officer is unknown - she OBVIOUSLY didn't CARE if the officer thought he was going to be hit - she got what she deserved.

I'm not happy she chose that route - I wish it had not happened - I wish she had minded her own business and allow the ICE officers to continue getting illegal aliens out of our country. I wish the democrat scum had not invited them in. I wish democrats were loyal opposition politically rather than corrupt scum of the earth.

Three kids lost their mother. Nothing about this is good.

What is truly atrocious here is the religious fervor of progressivism that had a mom of three willing to risk her life over a federal government operation she was completely ignorant of. Was ICE heading to arrest a sex trafficker or a pedophile? She has no idea, but she was completely brainwashed that all illegal immigrants are saints who should be immune to any prosecution.

This is spiraling out of control. Progressivism is turning into a religion with no moral boundaries. The cause is ultimately a moral one in their eyes so the end justifies any means.
