Was this a raise from what he made at Ole Miss or did we give him a raise like we gave one to Weis? I don't remember his original contract.
Regardless, he supposedly puts in a ton of work and is supposedly a very impressive person. Hope he's worth it. Currently, I have no reason to believe he's not after seeing what him and Lane did at Ole Miss.

The linked article says he made $425,000 at Ole Miss last year. So a substantial raise, but certainly not $3 million per year.

We keep having the highest paid this and that. At some point I'd like to see that investment pay off.

If he is REALLY good at his job, this is worth every penny. This is one of the most important positions in the organization.
