Trump admin is not "winning" with news events like today.

Hear me out before you downvote. I've defended the ICE agent all day long.
But for this level of outrage and upset and anger, we should be deporting TENS OF THOUSANDS of scamming Somalians.
This fight is not worth it. All of this stress and turmoil and anger is tearing our country apart. And for what? For like TWO PEOPLE maybe being arrested and deported in South Minneapolis?
At least do something that is worthwhile if you're going to suffer these consequences.
I will continue to defend ICE and I will continue to support their efforts, but this is all being handled very badly.
But for this level of outrage and upset and anger, we should be deporting TENS OF THOUSANDS of scamming Somalians.

Bumping the self-deportation bonus to $5,000 per person with some bullshite remote job training program, etc. would be a far better use of time and money.

I'd rather be "weak" and deporting 3 million illegals per year under the radar and maybe keep the House in midterms than "based" and hated and deporting 300,000 per year and lose the House.

The thing about self-deportations is there are no protestors. There are no incidents like today.
It's calm and classy and effective. Nobody even knows it's going on, really.

Not sure I'm sold on your premise but how do you know today's efforts were not part of doing just what you 'require?'
Deporting tens of thousands is gonna happen 1 by 1 in most cases or small groups.

If I'm not mistaken, oh great Winnie... admin47 is using multiple methods to deport these people. With bonuses, benefits or force if need be. It isn't an either/or scenario, all options have been on the table.
