Would acquiring Levitt actually be better than Sorsby?

Just a thought, that if you have to get at least 2-3 QBs in the portal, wouldn’t it be easier to convince other QBs to come if they think they’ll have a chance to compete for the starting job? Especially if the expected QB1 couldn’t practice in the Spring.

He’s good but injured. Who is healthy for the season?

Per On3 leavitt is the #1 overall player in the portal. Great stats, just injured.

If Leavitt makes a full recovery he’s the best player in the portal.

Not if you don’t acquire any offensive linemen. You could get peak Tom Brady and it won’t matter without a line.

Supposedly was a severe ligament sprain and not a tear or broken bone.

He won’t be cleared until April at the earliest.

He’s the best QB in the pprtal and worth throwing some money his way.

Levitt is not healthy. Full recovery will not be known until he plays.

i dont have a clue

In the last couple days I've seen some say Leavitt sucks and Sorsby is better. And I've seen some say Sorsby sucks and Leavitt is better. They are ranked 1 and 2 in the portal rankings. Highlighs I've watched, I think Sorsby seems like a tougher runner but Leavitt is flashier.

He is. But injury is concerning.

But we won’t get a second top QB. Best to hope for a diamond in the rough type.

If you want another QB to compete with him, yeah sure but no, he is not better than Sorsby even when healthy. I started going over both and realized just how great Sorsby is at passing down the middle of the field. Over 1000 yards and 12 TDs to 2 ints last year down the middle. Kid has a live arm that the ball just jumps out. His placement on downfield reminds me of Jayden Daniels. He also appears to be a slightly faster runner than Leavitt, but both are definitely damn good runners.

We’re going to justify saying whoever we get at QB is better than the ones we didn’t because that’s what fans do. In reality, we don’t know squat and will change our opinions after each game.

Wasn’t impressed with him at all when he played Mississippi State this year and he and his agent brother seem like they are pretty high maintenance
