Can you be a Democrat and a Christian? This pastor doesn’t think so.

Once you agitate to kill yet more babies it's hard for me to see how you could be right with Jesus.
Once you push to castrate yet more little boys it's hard for me to see how you could be right with Jesus.
Once you support placing yet more homosexual pornography into little kids' school libraries it's hard for me to see how you could be right with Jesus.
Jesus judges the hearts of men. I don't. But its difficult for me to square these actions with someone who is right with Jesus.

one can be saved. one cannot be a maturing Christian nor a Christian who pleases our savior or Heavenly Father.
Most Christians do not read the Bible nor pray much. they too are baby Christians.

The current political landscape is, in part, the result of the church’s institutional failure in this country. Rather than faithfully teaching Scripture, many churches shifted toward spectacle, motivational speaking, and ideological rants, kind of like this guy.
Hypocrisy in leadership went unchallenged, and serious scandals, including the cover-up of abuse, were tolerated. As a result, many people lost trust in the church and walked away, leaving biblical moral formation absent from how they now approach public life and political decisions.
Hence the Democratic Party we know now was formed.

A Christian life is not merely professed but lived. Faith reveals itself through works, and salvation is found not in words alone, but in abiding in Christ.

Did he repent and ask Jesus to come into his heart and change him, and did he after let God put him on a never ending path to always improve, get stronger, get better?
If so, then yes he is. If not, he is not.

Ultimately, Jesus is the judge. He will judge all of us at some point. He knows all and nothing will be hidden from him. We will have to account for what we have done or failed to do. We may be surprised to find out who is saved and who is condemned.

If a person claims they are a Christian while supporting the party that advocates for the maiming and murder of children, well, they're lying to themselves. I can't imagine the mental confusion and delusion these people are suffering with.
