As of now, Venezuela is being managed by Vice President Delcy Rodriguez, who has been designated as the acting president following the capture of President Nicolas Maduro. The country's military, led by Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López, maintains control over security and government institutions. The political situation remains complex, with various senior officials sharing power, and there is uncertainty about the future of leadership in Venezuela.

Then who do you think is actually in charge of Venezuela, if not his VP?

Who knows, other than Trump? But if we do let leave them in charge they will have better sense than to run the country the way Maduro was.

On 12 July 2016, President Maduro granted Padrino the powers to distribute food and medicine, authority over all Bolivarian missions, while also having his military command five of Venezuela's main ports.[3][4]
This action performed by President Maduro made General Padrino one of the most powerful people in Venezuela, possibly "the second most powerful man in Venezuelan politics".[5] Bloomberg's editorial board compared Padrino's appointment to the Cuban government's tactic of granting the Cuban military the power to manage Cuba's economy.[5]
2026 Attacks
Following the Capture of Nicolás Maduro, Padrino stated the imperial actions of the United States were the gravest insults Venezuela has had to endure. He pledged to resist the US invasion and recalled success of Bolivar.[6][7]
This guy better play nice lol

You don't have to be a "retarded liberal" or a "panican" to recognize that they're following Venezuela's line of succession. Because they simply are.
The caveat here is that the VP is being told what to do and she will follow along or she will be rounded up too.

Liberals are pretending like we aren’t telling the VP what to do with a loaded gun pointed at her head.
The CIA and State Department are making the decisions. She is now a puppet.

Didn’t Trump say that he would be running that Country? I suspect and he should call for a highly scrutinized special election such that the Venezuelan people have a fair vote to determine who runs their country. I think Trump believes that if he exposes the ‘rigging’ down there it will affect next year’s Midterms. Time will tell.

The folks who just captured the dictator without breaking a sweat. Not the dictator’s stooges “claiming” legitimacy hours after the operation.

The Trump admin claimed her legitimacy. It wasn't unilateral.

It doesn't change the fact that they're following the line of succession. They're calling for new elections to be held soon, the VP is the "leader" and will be managed by our State Department and others.
