Can’t wait til Blackhawks fly low over Copenhagen at night and snatch the king and queen of Denmark.

Could be if the NIL price is right.

However, we don't really need to own Greenland to have military bases there.

What is Denmark's claim to Greenland? They sailed a boat to there four hundred years ago?

Just a friendly reminder about the US and the Kingdom of Denmark: We are close allies and should continue to work together as such. US security is also Greenland’s and Denmark’s security. Greenland is already part of NATO. The Kingdom of Denmark and the United States work together to ensure security in the Arctic. The Kingdom of Denmark has significantly boosted its Arctic security efforts - in 2025 alone, we committed USD 13,7 bn that can be used in the Arctic and North Atlantic. Because we take our joint security seriously.

And yes, we expect full respect for the territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Offer Alberta a B1G college football team, and Denmark an ACC team, in exchange for the territories.

Despite this tweet coming from the loose lips of someone with no official White House position, Denmark and the EU should recognize this as no idle threat.

Not that it will matter, but they would be wise to start exercising more control over the territory.

I don’t want either. We are already too big to be well governed.

Exactly! Just like we are going to take Gaza. Man of his word!!!

I love watching Rubio's face when our President just starts riffing.

Long overdue. Greenland is not a country but is a territory of Denmark. Much easier to take over. Unlike Iceland, a former territory of Denmark that is now a country after gaining independence.
