Oil is the goal.

So we know that it's not about drugs.
Trump just said we're going to be sending in all of our oil companies to take back the oil that belongs to us.
So now that that is out of the way, how much security do you think will be required on a day-to-day basis to allow these oil companies to extract and refine the oil?
Multiple cartel(s) are heavily involved in the area. You have former government supporters, gangs, etc.
I'm assuming that most of the security will be handled by a heavy amount of private military organizations.
I don't know about constant air support, also explosions next to oil slash gas is not ideal. If guerilla tactics start to be used, and workers get killed etc how long do we let it go on for?
It's not just going to be like hey you took over, you can take all the oil peacefully, there's going to be fighting, how long do we keep air support and all of that going without putting boots on the ground.

You’re right in that drugs are not the primary motive here. That’s window dressing for the social conservatives and they eat it up.
It’s oil, but it’s a bigger picture.
Trump wants to fundamentally remake and influence South America and having a significant foothold and conduit in venezuela is a big part of that objective. From what I’ve read, Rubio was a driving force in this foreign intervention policy.
It’s oil, but it’s also trade, business, investment, capital, government, migration, political influence and control, construction, property development and management, military, etc.

You can just sum this up with the word imperialization. But I agree invading and taking over another country definitely works if you can get away with it but that still doesn't answer the question about how are we going to extract these resources without people getting killed?

So nobody can rub two brain cells together and answer the question, this board is pathetic. What's the f****** average age here like 65 people talk about Marxism and communism you got to be old as f***

Wrong, it is about positioning the USA in a strong manner to reduce the ability of Russia and China. The oil is a byproduct of good world management.

It was about cutting China's balls off and their influence in the western hemisphere.
It was about saying frick you to BRICS, it was about maintain US Supremacy and making the Chin Chong's bend the knee.
The Narco shite was part of it, but the main bread and butter has and will always be fricking china over.
BUH LEE DAT
