Feral dogs were doing most of the damage that these guys took the fall for.

Do not take Thylacine if you’re allergic to Thylacine or any of its ingredients.

We had a bunch of those around here until the black panther’s became so common. The panther’s ran all of the Thylacines off.

It's offspring like this that the relationships between tigers and dogs never took off

I was driving around the countryside south of Lafayette looking at Christmas lights and saw one of these run across the road right in front of my headlights!

Humans arrived in Australia much earlier than Europeans, with scientific evidence pointing to initial settlement by Aboriginal peoples between 60,000 and 65,000 years ago, though debates continue, with some genetic studies suggesting a slightly later arrival around 50,000 years ago, while key archaeological sites like Madjedbebe support the older timeframe. These first arrivals used watercraft to reach Sahul (the combined continent of Australia, New Guinea, and Tasmania during the ice age), establishing Australia's Aboriginal culture, the world's oldest continuous living culture.
That seems crazy to me.

If I was to bet on it, I'd say they're still there in deepest, darkest, Tasmania.
