I was at the game and found both Georgia and Ole Miss fans to be well-mannered and polite. Lots of people were congratulating the other's fans for a great game. It was very civilized, not like anything I've seen before.

I've never personally had a bad experience with OM fans. Georgia was a different story but it was a long time ago. It's good that everyone was cool that's how it should be.

New Orleans without a doubt has the largest Ole Miss Alumni Association in the country. There are plenty of Ole Miss alumni in the city.

That's what I'm saying if you like a place it's cool to just say that. There is no reason to trash a place you like just to take on a self righteous/ pearl clutching persona. I'm glad they are here celebrating but don't enjoy yourself and then pretend you didn't. NOLA is a shithole but it's fun.

They trash Baton Rouge. They love New Orleans and students love hosting events there.

What exactly is this referencing wrt Ole Miss fans and New Orleans?
I've never really seen this as any kind of "prevailing narrative" amongst them.
