He panicked and lost the game on the boneheaded 4th down call.

Wasn't just that. Not bleeding the clock at the end of the last possession when OM had no timeouts was supremely dumb and left OM with the opportunity to end it in regulation

Kirby Smart is a great coach, but he is no stranger to dumb shite like this, he was actually kind of infamous for it before 2021-2022. And because of those years people seemed to forget those years before. But he still has it in him.

Still a great coach, I want to reiterate. He's just like his mentor where he wins games Sunday through Friday and the offseason. I dunno if he's the greatest gameday coach though lol

That was one multiple shite calls he made during the game. He wrapped it up with giving OM a minute to go get themselves a FG. I mean that dog shite second down call, they should have just ran it on third down took the clock down to 20 seconds and then kick the FG

Not really, it’s not like Golding did anything but just stand there. it was Kirby who outsmarted himself to his own detriment

This is an insane take. It was 3rd and goal from the 6. You don’t run it and play for OT there.

Yeah but you dont throw it out the end zone either. You run a screen or something like that where its aggressive enough but can still kill clock

Add in the defensive play call at the end where the defender got toasted for the long gain. No safety on top?

Great throw by Chambliss though. Still questionable coverage scheme.

On Bobo and Stockton. It was against Weis Jr and Chambliss and guess who won?

Multiple people have suggested he run it and play for OT. That’s simply playing the result and not the original choice.

Yea you do. The goal is to not lose the game at that point. Any stoppage of the clock with no TD was going to be a loss in regulation given Ole Miss offense and kicker
