One you’ve actually watched enough to form an opinion. For example…I’ve never watched a minute of Real Wives of (blank), so while I probably would hate that show, it wouldn’t be pertinent to this thread.

For me, it’s Impractical Jokers. That show has been on forever. And I’ve never liked it. The reason I’ve watched a significant amount of it is because when the kids were still at the house, we’d watch Big Bang Theory on TBS almost nightly, and it would come on after the BBT reruns.

I think the premise is awful. Go up to random people and be an absolute dick. These guys act like massive douches, so it probably isn’t that much of a stretch for them.

The wife and kids liked it, I’d usually start playing on my phone.

I even grimace when I see the commercials.

Every singing show, dancing show, game show on in primetime.I've seen enough to hate them all. Every morning show with a panel of airheads. Every late night show that us simply an advertisement for the next big movie or big thing.

To each his own, but I love the impractical jokers

I only watch the new episodes, but I like stupid humor like that

Jenny and Georgia or whatever was awful. My wife watched like a million episodes of that.

The crime caper with the fat black woman and Cristina Hendricks where she's fricking the Mexican drug dealer is neck and neck with that other one.

Why do women love these shows?

I feel attacked.

It's a valid starting point. I get it. But how many eps does it take to form an opinion?

I noped out of Walking Dead after 3 eps, and all this time, there's no hint of a discussion as to what started it all and if there'll ever be a cure.

I cursed Game of Thrones for the Red Wedding, but came back. Only to have to watch S7 & 8.

As a rule, any "reality' show. There are exceptions, but few.

The one which stands out the most though , for this category, The Leftovers.

Oh, and why? Because of it's soul crushing depressing tone. No serious focus on the actual event. Something like that should have altered how people view the world, each other, but all I saw was morose, bitterness and crazy cult b.s. Nope. screw all that.

60 minutes

It's always been left leaning, but it's now openly Marxist.

Ive force watched at least 10 hours of the office and havent even cracked a smile. That humor style is dumb as frick to me. I dont think i hate the show as much as i hate people who insist it's amazing.

I agree with you about the style and the fan following that is the office. I forced watched the first 2 episodes and that was enough for me.

I’ve seen clips of the fire drill about a hundred times. That scene is funny.

Game of Thrones. Slow, boring, predictable and overrated af. Same for Walking Dead post-Darabont/Mazzara.

Fist fight me.

I couldn't finish Ozarks because I despised Ruth, Darlene and Jacob Snell.

Shows where the assumed humor is generated by the characters being irredeemably stupid.

It's Always Sunny comes immediately to mind.

Every week I learn something more about how terrible your taste in TV is. And like most everything you talk about, I’m assuming you only watched a few episodes if you don’t think it altered how people viewed the world or focus on the actual event. The underlying them of the entire series is how people would be affected and what it would be like to live in a world if something like that were to happen. Yes, bitterness and cults would be apart of it too.

Big Brother... tried it a few times and always hated it. Whispering constantly pisses me off for some reason.

There are no shows I absolutely hate.

But I have a tough time watching any cop drama featuring pretty people, lab results in hours, excessive use of shoulder holsters, and flattering indirect lighting in the government building where they work.

Trope tv is more cartoonish than engaging.

I also have trouble with tv comedies that depend on laugh tracks.

I'll add another. Search Party. Girl goes missing, dark comedy show that somehow lasted for 5 seasons. I saw S1 and that ending was garbage tier. Can't remember if I tried to watch S2 but then it moved to HBO Max and I had zero interest.

Worst character I can recall in all of TV. Flamboyantly gay guy, narcissistic beyond reason, not a single redeeming quality. Not funny, not "yeah, but he's got some good qualities..." Nope, nothing. 100% vile human, through and through. Utterly pointless.

My wife used to watch some show where people who won the lottery would be buying mansions or islands

I'm just quietly stupefied. These people are blowing up a big percentage of their winnings and in no way can afford the maintenance after the purchase. Plus they often went over the original budget.

News at 11 I suppose. People who buy lottery tickets are terrible with money and rapidly lose what they won.

Award Shows make me cringe. They've went from being a fun celebration of movie/tv to nothing but a platform liberal activists
