I find it very funny that the most pretentiou of the bowls is drowning this morning.

Herbie wrapped in plastic, too funny.

I like the rose bowl and all its glory and rules and stuff. It just is fun. Imagine college football without it.

Boring.

That field will be a disaster by halftime.

The field currently has a giant tarp over it and has one of the most advanced drainage systems of any stadium around.

No. I'm not. Would you want 15 inches of rain in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl? Would you want an ice storm in Dallas for the Cotten Bowl?

By far the best setting for a Bowl Game.

Great History and glad I went but one of the worst gameday experiences I have ever had.

Concessions are not even in the building. Restrooms ancient. Lines of sight are horrible for most seats.

Never understood those who hate the Rose Bowl game. The game draws more viewers than the other major bowls. There have been many epic games played at the Rose Bowl. I have been watching since the 1960 game when my Huskies obliterated highly favored Wisconsin 44-8.

Iconic setting, horrible stadium.

The first game playoff game today is in sunny Miami who just celebrated a hometown playoff win plus New Year’s. Let’s do Gameday from an empty dreary Rose Bowl instead

The B1G and Pac 12 held up the college football playoff for years because of the sacred tradition of having the Big 10 and Pac 12 playing in the Rise Bowl. Then the B1G destroyed the pac 12 and pretty much every other college football tradition has gone away, yet the Rose Bowl is somehow still untouchable. It’s pretty ridiculous.

Lol nothing triggers the typical low IQ southern Bubba like the rose bowl.

Go back to your rusty single wide Leroy.

I love the game and celebration but loathe the ancient stadium gameday experience.

My Crimson Tide has the sixth most wins and are not in the Pac 12 or Big 10.

Can we only allow comments from people whose teams are relevant?

Not even close. The seats are a mile away ans the stadium is an absolute dump. Makes the Cotton Bowl look like the Taj Mahal. The Sugar Bowl is the best bowl atmosphere, with it being so close to the bars, restaurants. Pasadena is nothing special. People actually believe the "Granddaddy of Bowls" BS. Overrated
