The case to go to 16

1. No teams get byes
2. more room for good deserving P4 teams to get in if the CFP remains intent on guaranteeing G6 teams.
If it were up to me, I’d go to 24 and do away with all the lesser bowls, use the major bowls in the playoff system. Either you play in the postseason for something or you sit home.

The media gaslighted you into thinking indiana and Ohio Sate are good teams Bama is going to pop that bubble tomorrow. The sad thing is Ohio State sucks and Miami just sucks a little bit less. Miami did not even play in the weak arse ACC championship game.

16 seems good to me. Preserves the importance of the regular season (for the most part) but allows enough of the actually good teams in the playoffs, which defines a "successful " season now. No need to stretch to 24 to salvage more bowl games - who cares?, just enjoy the minor bowls as the exhibitions they are. Nothing there needs to be fixed.

I think Bama beats them too....and quite possibly TT beats Oregon. Ohio State was weak on offense, and not that great on defense. Miami was MUCH more physical and that was the difference.

Honestly, both ND and especially Texas could also have wrecked some people....if there were 16. The key is to get the most deserving in and no more of this DEI shite.

FCS football has 24. NFL has 14 in only a 32 team league. Hate to break it to you but FBS football has been the outlier.

It's 16 FCS-- why not the same for FBS? The doable--sensible-- reasonful solution to the current playoff fracas.

If it weren't for the long layoffs I truly don't think teams 9-12 could compete with the top 4
