A US Navy veteran-turned-porn star has revealed that she went broke after going into porn — and she’s warning that OnlyFans isn’t the golden goose everyone thinks it is.

Addyson James, 46, who served in Afghanistan before leaving the military in 2003, has lifted the lid on the struggles she’s had finding work — three years after going into the skin biz full-time.

“There are 1% of people who are on OnlyFans who shoot porn that actually make a lot of money and the common misconception is, if they see us on camera, they think, ‘Oh, I thought they made $10,000 a scene,'” James told the Sun.

Most people don’t even make $10,000 a year shooting porn,” she added.

She told the UK newspaper that she has been homeless for the past four months because she hasn’t made enough money from her career change.

The veteran from Vermont joined the Navy in 1998, serving as an aircraft logistics specialist for her last three years.

“I became a swinger 15 years ago, so I was pretty open sexually. Then three years ago, I was approached by a company about doing porn,” she told the Sun.

But despite making up to $1,200 per scene, she revealed that work had dried up.

“During the springtime, things were busy. I was shooting five to seven scenes a month,” she said.

Then summer hits and I went from five to seven scenes a month to zero scenes for over two months. So during this period, I stayed with some friends,” James said.

She is currently living at Sheri’s Ranch, a legal brothel just outside Las Vegas, while she looks for somewhere more permanent.
