Buffalo and NE aren’t building domes. Kuddos to them. I wouldn’t want to be in the stadium in freezing cold weather though.

Those teams want super bowls

Who other than Chicago?
Buffalo is open air and denver will be retractable roof
Nashville is gonna be a dome but not a snow city per se

Green Bay will never tear down Lambo and I don’t envision Buffalo ever doing a dome. The rest… who knows.

This is main reason
If you are gonna spend 2 billion you might as well get a super bowl out of it
NYC is the only cold city that was ever going to get a super bowl with open air stadium and they wont get another

Agreed, Buffalo even postponed a playoff game a couple of years ago because of snow. That’s in addition to the synthetic grass -meaning no more mud games

Independence Stadium will never be roofed.
I guess that means Shreveport will never get a Super Bowl.

All planning / building domed stadiums
Denver
Kansas City
Cleveland
Chicago
Titans
Redskins
Cincinnati wants a domed stadium
Carolina wants a new domed stadium
Only "safe" remaining stadiums where snow is possible are Pittsburgh, Philly, Green Bay, Buffalo, New England. So sad!
It's a disgusting trend, just ask Randy Moss and Joe Buck.

Exactly half the league will be indoors by 2031 (if the Bears get their stadium demand by that year)

The NFLPA should be demanding that any new stadium is built to accomodate a natural grass pitch a'la Las Vegas and Arizona.

I hope not.
They don't air condition pro baseball games in summer in most cities.

You do understand they will close it with any kind of snow and cold right?

Were NFL snow games a fun thing that regular people enjoyed about sports? Then, yes, of course they will be a thing of the past.
