Football, baseball, golf and tennis stars aren't well known in 3rd world shitholes. Most famous athlete has to be famous enough in the US, Europe, Africa and India/China. That limits it to soccer, basketball and maybe F1.

They were the 3rd city to have the Olympics. And look where they are now. At least the big arse park in the middle of the city with the free museums and zoo is still nice.

No longer give a shite about the players unless they've been with LSU for a few years. Still care about LSU football for now but fully expect it to stop eventually with how things are going.

They've been training they're whole lives. Most US winter olympic athletes converted from other sports and been training only a few years.

Maryland is probably tied with Rutgers as the worst P4 athletics program in the country. What a genius move by BIG to take them!

9 years is too damn long but I prefer this to the mercs who transfer every year. Only been at two schools and has a masters. Can't imagine he's getting much NIL at Montana.
Love both but Gladiator is much better. Braveheart has one of the best battle scenes of all time but it feels somewhat dated with the 90s soap opera drama. Still a great movie.

Indiana and OSU would have at least 2 losses if they played a regular SEC schedule. Oregon would have at least 4.
