Well they won 10.
They are 10-2. SEC has been awful in bowl games this year

Your understanding of football is what you see on TV at the moment.

Tale as old as time…who wants to be there vs who doesn’t. Vandy wanted playoffs and doesn’t care at all.

Every sec team has had 5+ dudes sitting out for NFL, why is it never mentioned? LSU played with how many defensive backups, while Houston had zero opt outs. Tenn had 4 of their best players sit and Illinois had none.

People want to act like there is bias. Here is the bias: the best recruits go to the sec top to bottom. The SEC has by far the most NFL players. This is every single season on repeat. So common sense says the best players are in one league means that league is the best league.

A team that feels like they got snubbed from the playoffs playing in a meaningless bowl game... I highly doubt the motivation is there.

Idk, but I watched the UT game so I’m not going to count them out yet.

I agree this had been the case up until now, but i just looked it up and the only player vandy is without today is eli stowers.

They're just getting their arse kicked

I'm telling you, the SEC is WAY down. With LSU, Florida, Auburn struggling (accounted for 6 national titles this century and played in 8 NC games) this has opened up the door for teams like Vandy and OM to emerge...but those teams are just propped up due to the decline of the top tier in the SEC the last 3 or 4 years. Even Bama isn't what they used to be. IMO, only Ga has a chance to win a NC this year....no one else from the SEC is Championship material.

yeah, they aren't all created equally.

look at OM too.....they have ONE decent win this year...just ONE, in OU. Their second best win you might ask? LSU. Let that sink in. Then they got to play Tulane in first round. Their tale ends tomorrow night though.....

What does the narrative become when they all go the way of A&M after the real playoff games start?

Iowa lost 4 games. That is the real question.

People really underestimate the week to week grind of the SEC. nobody thinks SEC teams are untouchable out of conference, it's doing it every single week that makes a difference.

Who else in the country can win 10 games with the same schedules?

yet they found a way to beat LSU so what’s say about that dog shite coaching Brian Kelly did while at LSU. God, the more I think about it the more BRIEN Kelly fricked LSU over.
